Valerie of Dore is owned and managed by David and Jo Marshall with a professional team of qualified florists and drivers. Jo has brought over 28 years of floristry experience to Dore, her previous post for 15 years was teaching floristry at all levels. Jo has achieved the highest accolade within the UK floristry industry the “Society of Floristry National Diploma” A qualified teacher achieving her Certificate in Education and recently gaining her City and Guilds licentiateship (LCGI). Jo also assess for a South Yorkshire College and works for Interflora offering professional floristry training and advice as an Area Consultant. Jo offers you and your friends the chance to gain some of this knowledge at her in-house flower classes. David works mainly on the management, business and I.T side of Valerie of Dore, allowing Jo to concentrate completely on floristry and excellent customer service.
Our Team are all currently experienced within the industry and hold professionally recognised Qualifications and are always looking to develop their skills and knowledge further to assist you the customer. They have just achieved an NVQ in customer service another attribute to add to the polite and friendly service which is always at the top of our agenda. The team often attend local groups and charities to demonstrate their skills and offer entertainment to the audience. It’s our way of letting people know what we do.
